What we think is really important about Woojum™ is that it leaves it entirely up to you to decide who can look at your Timeline(s). You can restrict access to Invited Guests and other Timeline owners to whom you grant Links, or you can choose to make your Timeline(s) available to any member of the general public who goes to the Public Pages of this Website. The "Public Flag", as we call it, is what you need to set to make your Timeline(s) available to the general public.
You set the Public Flag at Timeline level, so if you have more than 1 Timeline in your Package you can make some of them Public and some of them not, just as you please.
When you start out, if you just want to set up Timeline(s) for a restricted audience you should choose a Silver or Gold Package. These Packages do not include any Public Flags. Alternatively, if you want to set up Timeline(s) for anybody to be able to see you should choose a Platinum or Titanium Package. These Packages include Public Flags.
If you start out with no Public Flags and change your mind later and decide you want to make 1 or more of your Private Timelines Public you can either Upgrade your Package or purchase however many Public Flags you need from our Extras Tariff.
All displayed prices are per annum and inclusive of VAT. If you purchase any Extras partway through your Subscription Year you will be charged on a pro-rata basis for that year and will only pay the full annual cost of those Extras the next time you renew your Package Subscription.

We do not share your personal information. However, the following specific exclusions apply:
As of the 26th May 2011, UK law basically requires that nothing be stored on a vistor's computer unless/until that visitor has explicitly granted permission. This affects the cookie(s) that we use to (a) enhance the User experience of the site, and (b) facilitate a secure login.
If you have not previously given permission for us to place cookies on your computer, or a previous permission is no longer valid (has expired), then you will be asked to accept our cookies. Until you grant permission, no cookies will be set on your computer. If you choose not to grant permission, then you will not be able to login (assuming you are eligible to!) and some features of the public pages may be either inaccessible or not work as intended.
The cookies we use are:
A session cookie.
This holds a session identifier that the web server uses to identify you as a unique visitor to our site. It (the web server) may hold some choices you have made on the site, such as the sort order of Timeline events, or your preferred presentation theme. If you successfully login, it will also store the fact that you (specifically) are logged in, and will then manage and control your subsequent actions/requests accordingly.
This cookie does not use or transmit any information from or about your computer, and is valid only for the duration of the browser session (ie. until your close your browser).
A temporary or persistent cookie (depending on which permission you give).
This holds a text value of 'Yes' and is simply used to indicate to us that you have granted permission for us to place cookies on your computer. When you are asked for permission, you are given the choice of setting the term of that permission to be either for the duration of the current session (ie. until your close your browser), or for 1 year (so that you can avoid having to repeatedly grant permission on repeat visits).
This cookie does not use or transmit any information from or about your computer, and is valid for the duration that you set.
Note that cookies are not only computer-specific but also browser-specific. This means that permission granted when visiting our site in, say, Internet Explorer, will not be valid should you then choose to revisit the site using a different browser.
Also, since our cookies are entirely benign, we do not provide a mechanism for revoking a longer term permission once it has been granted. However, most modern browsers provide a means by which cookies can be deleted, and you should check your browser settings/options if you decide that you need to remove any cookies.
Lastly - still on the subject of browsers - most modern browsers have the ability to switch off their acceptance of cookies, possibly even selectively by web site; however, the current default setting for this option is likely to be 'accept all cookies'. Even if you have deliberately left or set this option at 'accept', it is deemed to be implicit permission for a site to place cookies, whereas UK law now requires that sites gain explicit permission. Should you choose to set your browser to refuse our cookies then we regret that you will be unable to reap the full benefits from our site.
Our public pages may show links to other websites. We do not accept responsibility for the content or availability of those sites.
You may include links to other websites in your content. We do not accept responsibility for the content or availability of those sites, or for any links you have set up to other websites which do not work because you have set them up incorrectly.
We have tried to be as comprehensive as we can in putting together this list but we don't pretend to be all-seeing or all-knowing. If you can't find the answer - or even the question - below please use our Contact Us form to ask your question - that will help us to improve this Page.
